Game Theme Commission Approval

The Ohio Lottery Commission reviews and approves or denies each game theme submitted by technology providers. The Commission may determine that proposed game themes do not meet standards of good taste and may withhold approval accordingly. A list of all approved game themes and the most recent Commission resolution are posted below.

Licensed technology providers can submit game themes for approval via email to vlt@lottery.ohio.gov. Please use the Ohio Lottery Game Theme Submission Form for all game theme submissions.  Additional instructions and details are available in the Game Theme Submission Procedure.

Disclaimers:

  • Games are not authorized to operate in Ohio until both the game theme has been approved and a certification has been received directly from an independent test lab (copies from technology providers will not be accepted). Commission resolutions and the list of approved game themes do not include the status of the independent test lab certification.
