NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN

GIVEAWAY PERIOD:

The Ohio Lottery Treasure within the Holidaze (“Giveaway”) begins on Monday, November 11, 2024 through Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Giveaway is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (“Eligible Participants”). Multiple entries throughout the event are allowed; however, each participant can win a maximum of one prize. The Ohio Lottery Commission (“Sponsor”), Marcus Thomas LLC (“Administrator”), Meta, all broadcast partners, their employees, successors, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, “Releasees”), and each of their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the same households as each of these individuals, whether related or not, of the above are not eligible to enter or win.

SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR:

The Sponsor of this Giveaway is the Ohio Lottery Commission, 615 W. Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. The Administrator of this Giveaway is Marcus Thomas LLC, 4781 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.

HOW TO ENTER:

To enter the Giveaway, participants must view the active Holiday video promotional content and find the code word hidden with such content.
Participants must then submit the code word hidden within the content in MyLotto Rewards® to be entered (“Code Entry”).
Each code will only be valid during the specific entry periods listed below.
One entry per code per person and each participant can win a maximum of one prize.
You must have or create a MyLotto Rewards account to participate.

ENTRY PERIODS:

November 11, 2024 – November 24, 2024 (Secret Code Word 1, MULTIPLY 30 second spot)
November 25, 2024 – December 15, 2024 (Secret Code Word 2, WRAPPED 30 second spot)
December 16, 2024 – December 25, 2024 (Secret Code Word 3, BAKED 30-second spot)

DETERMINATION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:

There will be one (1) winner per entry period. The potential MLR code winners will be chosen at random among all eligible entries and announced on the Ohio Lottery’s Facebook page on the dates listed below.

All potential winners will be contacted via the email on file within their MLR account.

SPONSOR’S DECISIONS FINAL AND BINDING:

The results of the Giveaway, all decisions by the Sponsor, Administrator, its agents or judges related to whether an Entry complies with the Official Rules, and the interpretation by Sponsor or its agents of these Official Rules are final and binding on all entrants and other participants as to all aspects of this Giveaway.

PRIZES:

3 total prizes (Approximate total retail value $1350)

One prize/winner per entry period shall win the following:

One (1) book of $5 Holiday Lucky Times 10 Ohio Lottery Scratch-Offs and one (1) $200 Visa gift card (Approximate retail value: $450)

No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfer of prizes are permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, except as otherwise provided herein. All taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically stated within these Official Rules as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winner, including, without limitation, all federal, state and local taxes. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

ODDS:

The odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received and the number of prizes.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator and their employees, which are final and binding. By entering the Giveaway or accepting a prize, each winner irrevocably consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and state), image, likeness, photograph, voice and all other material submitted with the Entry, and biographical material for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes by Sponsor, or party designated by the Sponsor, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised including, but not limited to, the internet, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. By entering, you irrevocably agree to release and hold harmless Administrator, Sponsor, and broadcast partners, together with their officers, employees, agents, and members, from any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind including, but not limited to, personal injury or death, resulting, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in this Giveaway or from the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of a prize, or from Sponsor or Sponsor’s designees’ use of a winner’s image, likeness, photograph, voice or biographical material. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit; loss of damage to property; and claims of third parties. Entrants agree that Releasees have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, statutory, express or implied (including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, title and fitness for a particular purpose), in fact or in law, relative to the Giveaway. Entrants agree that they have full legal right to submit all information, images and other materials submitted as part of the Entry.

GENERAL:

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part or all of this promotion at any time without notice for any reason, including if in the opinion of the Sponsor, its agents or judges there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or other tampering with any portion of the Giveaway; or if any technical issues, bugs, nonauthorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or integrity, and proper play or submission of Entries of the event. In the event of cancellation or termination, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, void any Entries it suspects are at issue and award the prizes in a random drawing from among all nonsuspect, eligible Entries received up to the time of cancellation (or earlier date determined in the Sponsor’s sole discretion if cancellation occurs after the close of the Event Period). Sponsor may at its sole discretion void any Entries that it considers to be in bad taste. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage the livestream event or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be in violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify entrants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Giveaway in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, then the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Giveaway (and void all associated Entries). By entering, you also acknowledge that this Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, broadcast partners, or any other media provider.

DISPUTES:

By submitting an Entry, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the state of Ohio; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering a Giveaway, but in no event attorneys’ fees or expenses; and (c) entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the state of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of Ohio.

WINNER’S NAME:

For the names of the winners, available after Thursday, January 2, 2025, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope by no later than Thursday, January 16, 2025, to Marcus Thomas LLC, 4781 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.
