STRONGSVILLE, OH – A lottery player is $50,000 richer after playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off.  

The winner purchased their ticket at Whitney Beverage and Deli, located at 9080 Pearl Road in Strongsville.       

After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.       

50th Anniversary is a $50 scratch-off that has a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of November 7, there are two top prizes remaining in the game.
