The Ohio Lottery Cashless

In late October, the Ohio Lottery began installing credit/debit card payment systems on our self-service terminals (Winstation, MP, MPNG and QuicKeno). Look for this new feature to be in place on all of our self-service terminals soon.

What types of payments are accepted?

The card reader will accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover and any eWallet associated with one of these cards; ie. Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay.

How does it work?

  1. Select the amount you want to play
  2. Insert, swipe or tap card
  3. Enter pin if needed

Are there certain amounts that I can put on the machine?

Yes, you must select one of these four purchase amounts. $10, $20, $50 or $100.

What if I want to play a different amount?

You will have to pay in cash.

Can I cancel my cashless transaction?

No, once your credit, debit or e-wallet payment is accepted, your transaction cannot be cancelled.

Who do I contact if I am having problems using my card to make a cashless transaction?

Call the Customer Cashless Hotline at 1-844-806-8929.

Can I “cash-out” the amount I put into the terminal?

No. Any money placed on the Lottery terminal using the card reader must be played. The only amounts that can be cashed out are winnings or cash that was inserted into the machine.

Who do I call with questions about my credit card bill and account summary?

Customers may call 1-844-806-8929 with any questions about the card reader.

Will there be limits on how much a customer can wager at any one time?

Yes, you are limited to spending $100 per day per card. Any additional funds played would need to be cash.
