Questions about the "Summer Made EZ" Second Chance Promotion

Which games are eligible for the Summer Made EZ Second Chance Promotion?

All eligible non-winning Ohio Lottery EZPLAY® Games and EZPLAY Progressive Games tickets are eligible. One (1) ticket is required per entry.

What is the promotional period?

The promotional period runs from Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 12:00:00 a.m. to Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m.

When is the deadline to enter my tickets?

All tickets must be entered by Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. to be eligible for this promotion.

When are the drawings going to be held, and what are the prizes for the promotion?

There will be five (5) drawings during the course of the promotion. 4 weekly draws and 1 final drawing for the Tier 1-3 prizes.

What's the difference between the Weekly Drawings and the Grand Prize Drawings?

Each eligible non-winning ticket entered will receive an entry into both a weekly drawing and the Grand Prize Drawing. Each week, 50 winners will be drawn and awarded $50 in Lottery Cash. At the end of the promotional period, a Grand Prize drawing will be conducted with prizes between $100-$10,000 in value.

Can I enter the drawing more than one time?

Yes, you may enter each drawing as many times as you wish. Each entry requires the submission of an eligible non-winning Ohio Lottery EZPLAY® Game and/or EZPLAY Progressive Game ticket that has not been previously submitted.

If I don't win in the weekly drawings, will my entry carry over?

No, entries are only submitted into one (1) weekly drawing during the qualifying period when the ticket is submitted. Each entry submitted will earn an entry into both a weekly drawing and final Grand Prize Drawing.

Can I win multiple drawings?

Yes, participants who enter multiple weekly drawings are eligible to win once per weekly drawing. You can also win once in the Grand Prize drawing.

How do I win the Grand Prize Drawing?

Each eligible ticket submitted will earn an entry into the Grand Prize drawing on or around 7/9/25. There will be three (3) Tier 1 winners, twelve (12) Tier 2 winners and one hundred (100) Tier 3 winners.

How can I see the number of entries I submitted into a drawing?

Go to the My Account page and click on the Drawing Entries page. You'll find all the details for each drawing you've entered, including drawing name, date entered and number of entries.

Will I still earn points for each ticket entered?

Players will have a choice to opt in to the Summer Made EZ promotion. If opting ‘in’ to the promotion, no points will be awarded for that eligible non-winning EZPLAY Game or EZPLAY Progressive Game ticket. If opting ‘out’ of the promotion, points (per MyLotto Rewards ® rules) will be awarded for that eligible non-winning EZPLAY Game or EZPLAY Progressive ticket. Players will be prompted to opt ‘in’ or ‘out’ with each eligible non-winning ticket they scan into MyLotto Rewards during the promotional period.

If I exceed the monthly point cap limit, can I still enter the promotion?

Yes, if you surpass the point cap limit, you will still be able to enter the Second Chance Promotion. No points will be awarded for eligible non-winning tickets entered into the promotion.

Can I throw away my tickets after submitting them into the drawings?

Yes. You are not required to retain your tickets once you have verified that your entry has been submitted.

Can I mail in my entries?

No, tickets must be entered through the Ohio Lottery Mobile app.

How do I enter my tickets?

You must enter your tickets through a MyLotto Rewards® account via the Ohio Lottery Mobile App. You can use a smartphone or tablet to download the app. Click here to learn more.

I don't have a mobile device to download the Ohio Lottery Mobile App. How do I enter tickets?

Ask a family member or friend to use their device. If you do not have access to a mobile device, please visit one of our 9 Regional offices or our Downtown office to use a shared device with the Ohio Lottery Mobile Application. Here is where our offices are located: Ohio Lottery Regional Offices.

The scanner on my phone isn't recognizing the barcode. How do I enter my ticket?

The scanner is sensitive to light. Try to move the ticket into a lighter room. Also, place the ticket on a flat surface, rather than holding it in your hand, to avoid movement or shaking of the image. If the barcode is smudged, damaged or otherwise illegible, it could affect the registration of the scan. If that is the case, please visit one of our 9 Regional offices or Downtown office to use a shared device to enter your ticket(s).

Questions about Winners

How will I be notified if I win the prize?

If your entry is selected, you will be contacted via the information in your MyLotto Rewards® account. After the initial contact is attempted, winners’ information will be posted on the Winners page. Alternates will be selected during the drawing. If a winner cannot be reached within fifteen (15) business days of the date of first notification, an alternate may be used in the order drawn.

Questions about Your MyLotto Rewards^® Account

Can I use my MyLotto Rewards account to log in for this promotion?

Yes, you can use your MyLotto Rewards account for this promotion if you've completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. Your login will work across the Ohio Lottery site and mobile app, but tickets must be entered through the Ohio Lottery Mobile app.

What do I do if I can't remember my password?

Click the "I forgot my password" link on the log-in page. Follow the steps and a temporary password will be emailed to your inbox. Use the temporary password to log in to your MyLotto Rewards account. You can then change your password under your My Profile page.

How do I update my personal information that I submitted when I registered?

Click on My Account and select the My Profile option in the menu bar on the left to make your changes.
