Perry Drive Thru in Canton wrapped up the month of September by selling its second, $1-million winning ticket on
40th Anniversary Millions, a $30 scratch-off sold by the Ohio Lottery.

“The second million-dollar winner was sold five years, two months and a day after the first million-dollar winner was sold,” said store owner Amanda Cefalo. She and her husband Michael Cefalo have owned the store since 2012.
The most recent ticket was claimed by Roger Westfall of Canton. The $1-million prize is an annuity, paid as $40,000 a year for 25 years. Mr. Westfall chose the $500,000 cash option prize. Five years before, on July 12, 2016, another $1-million ticket sold by Perry Drive Thru was claimed by The Lucky Duckling Trust. The ticket holder also chose the cash option payout.
Word that the store sold a second million-dollar winner traveled fast. Amanda said that sales the week after skyrocketed. Weekly sales jumped more than 40% the week ending Sept. 25, compared to the week prior.
“Hopefully our next million-dollar winner will come even sooner,” Amanda said. Perry Drive Thru, is located at 5824 Navarre Road SW in Canton.
