LORAIN, OH – For staff of Lorain Convenient Food Mart, having conversations and relationships with customers is high priority. That is why the store is this week’s Ohio Lottery Retailer-of-the-Week.
To help promote the Lottery, Lorain Convenient Food Mart is kept neat and clean. The staff keeps a nice display of a variety of Lottery tickets. Tickets can also be purchased from a self-serve WinStation.
Store owner, Rakesh Patel, knows the value Lottery products bring to his location.
To be a successful Lottery retailer, Mr. Patel offers this advice: hang tickets in an organized manner and offer good customer service.
Lorain Convenient Food Mart averages $10,015 in weekly sales for both instant and online games. The store carries an average of 81 instant tickets over the counter and through the WinStation unit.
Each week, the Ohio Lottery recognizes one outstanding retail partner who offers courteous service and sales enthusiasm. Retailer-of-the-Week is chosen based on recommendations from the store’s sales representative and regional sales staff. Lorain Convenient Food Mart will be recognized on Cash Explosion® on Saturday, October 20.
Lorain County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WEWS TV 5 in Cleveland. The Cash Explosion show is carried in 10 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
