Celebrating Winner Wednesday

Check it out! Can you believe this is the last Winner Wednesday for the month of May?

Time flies when you're having fun, and this week's winners are definitely feeling the vibe.

She played her zip code, 4-3-6-1-4, in the May 22, 2022 Pick 5 evening drawing.

Eastgate Carryout, located at 1853 Eastgate Rd in Toledo, sold the winning ticket.

Zack played the Extreme Millions Scratch-Off and won $10,000!

He shared his win with us on social media and says he plans to use his winnings to do something fun with his kids.

He bought his winning ticket at Special Way in Toronto.

Liz from Munroe Falls played Million Dollar Multiplier and scratched her way to a $10,000 win.

Liz found the win on the last number on her ticket!

She said it was an exciting game to play and she's using some of her winnings to pay off some bills.

She bought her winning ticket at Gray Mart in Munroe Falls.

Someone picked all the right numbers to win the $388,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot on May 23.

Warrensville Marathon in Maple Heighs sold the winning ticket. The winner chose their own numbers - 14-17-20-25-28.

We've got a new Retailer-of-the-Week!

The Campbell Shell is a popular place and the sales show it! But what's best is that customers and staff are encouraged to be themselves. Saif, the store manager, says there are no robots on his customer service team.

Campbell Shell promotes its winners, posting signs of its biggest winners for customers to see. The staff is patient and kind, cncouraging customers to have some fun and try their luck.

Over the past 20 years, they’ve built friendships with many of their customers. Now that's something to celebrate!

Playing Ohio Lottery games helps support Ohio Businesses

Did you know that when you purchase Ohio Lottery games you're helping to support a network of 10,000 retailers across Ohio?

Mom and pop shops in your neighborhood, gas stations and convenience stores you visit, and bars and restaurants all over the state are all valued members of the Ohio Lottery retail network. And they all get a piece of the pie from Ohio Lottery sales!

Retailers earn a commission on Ohio Lottery sales, and are incentivized to sell and earn bonuses for things like cashing winning tickets, selling jackpot-winning tickets, and activating new tickets when they're delivered.

Last fiscal year, Ohio Lottery retailers earned $296 million in bonuses and commissions!

That's $63 million more than the previous year.

So when you play, retailers win too!

We hope you continue to support retailers across Ohio, and the mission set out to help support education in Ohio.

What day is it? It's Winner Wednesday!

It doesn't get much better than a Winner Wednesday, and today we have a three-time Ohio Lottery winner!

Victor from Akron won $10,000 pn the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, $5 Million Payout.

He bought his winning ticket at T D Rowe Tobacco Outlet in Akron.

He and his wife don't have any bills to pay, so they're planning to take a vacation and buy some new furniture.

Victor is no stranger to making winning claims.

We're becoming old friends because this is the third time he's been in our offices with a winning ticket.

This time last year, Victor played the EZPLAY Progressive jackpot game, Going Pro and hit the jackpot... for the second time in less than a month!

First, he won $75,683 on Going Pro last April, then played a month later and won $92,276 progressive jackpot.

T D Rowe Tobacco Outlet in Akron is Victor's lucky spot.

He bought all of his big winners at the retailer.

Who says lightning doesn't strike twice? Or three times for that matter!

Allan from Madison scratched his way to a big win on Power 25X. He won $10,000!

He bought his winning ticket at Convenient Food Mart in Madison.

How's he going to spend his winnings? Allan says he's planning to go on a vacation.

Congratulations, and Happy Winner Wednesday!
