“The students in Mr. Murphy’s class are always engaged in their learning and on task. He has created a great classroom environment for the students both physically with lighting and socially with how the kids interact. He is always looking for ways to turn everything into a lesson whether it is an academic lesson or life skill. Mr. Murphy is constantly exposing our students to the district’s elements of RISE – Resilient, Invested, Safe and Empathy. He has incorporated STEM into his lessons using a Sphero indi to help students with their communication and social skills. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Murphy also works with the high school football program as a coach”- Amy Rutledge, District Communications Director
“Audra is just the kind of teacher you want all your kids to have. She teaches to each individual student.

The students may all be doing the same project, but Audra listens to each student and adapts the project to the child’s abilities and interests. For these reasons, we have amazing artwork always on display in the school. More importantly, the students are proud of the end products they produce. This gives each student confidence in their ability in art. Audra is also a very good morale booster for the staff. She is always smiling and willing to help anyone in any way possible. Colleagues know they can rely on her to be an inspiration in their own classroom when needed.” – Nancy Miller, Administrator

“Mrs. Brogan has an enthusiasm for reading and creative writing that is infectious to her students. She provides a lot of choice in her classroom, so students can read the books they want and then write about them. Learning in Mrs. Brogan’s classroom is at a student’s individual pace so they can progress as slowly or as quickly as they need. Mrs. Brogan is always thinking outside of the box to help students connect to reading and writing. When you walk into her classroom, immediately you are greeted by the warm homey feeling of her classroom. She has created an environment that is conducive to learning and feeling safe. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Brogan attends all extracurricular activities and helps with supervision or is just there to see her students participating in other activities.” – Kelly Thomas, Administrator
“Stefanie makes learning math and science fun and

practical. She has the children solve problems like putting Thanksgiving dinner together with $30, determining how many lights it takes to light up a 5ft Christmas tree, and how many boxes of cereal does it take to have a domino challenge on all 3 floors of the school. She has her students designing Christmas ornaments on 3D printers, the kids use drones to video the domino challenge and the kindergarten class makes houses that will hold up to the power of a leaf blower. She is amazing.” – Yvonne Hamilton

“Melissa is one of our amazing reading specialists that spends her day providing extra assistance to students falling behind in reading. On top of planning small groups each day, for the past two years, she has put in significant hours in and out of school to become certified in Orton Gillingham, a multi-sensory phonics technique for remedial reading instruction. She builds positive relationships with her students and takes pride in their progress. Every student is greeted by a smile and good morning in the drop-off line, even in the rain and snow. My favorite trait is the level of integrity she has for not only herself but every student and staff member at London Elementary. Melissa is a lifelong learner and educator who I am proud to have on my staff.” – Lou Kramer, Administrator
“Mrs. Mowrer is an outstanding music teacher and has

been teaching at Green Elementary for seven years. She is always wearing a smile and her students are too! The music programs at Green Elementary School are truly impressive because of her hard work and dedication to all students. Students have the opportunity to lead and learn new instruments in her classroom. Mrs. Mowrer also organizes school-wide, student-led assemblies that teach kindness and school spirit. We are so lucky to have her on our team!” – Amanda Framstad, Administrator

“Mr. Lowry is a kind, loving, and caring individual. He not only teaches during the day but also teaches home instruction after school. He coaches football as well. Chris goes above and beyond being a teacher. He is a great mentor and truly cares about individuals. We are extremely fortunate to have him teaching in Warren for the past 28 years! He also taught every subject and is a strong advocate for special education students.” – Sandy Andrews
“This teacher is very kind to every individual in the

school and outside the school. She is so helpful when we need her for something, and she never gets impatient with us or frustrated. She explains everything to make it as simple as possible for everyone. She always knows how to make everyone feel loved and important.” – Gabby Torres, Student
