“Mrs. Szymaniak is a phenomenal teacher who goes above and beyond for her students. She not only knows her content, but also, she understands the importance of knowing about her students' hobbies and interests. Because of her interests in her students, she has started many new programs at our school like outdoor adventures and teen girls' health and fitness. Mrs. Szymaniak also creates and organizes team building activities for the entire building every nine weeks. Mrs. Szymaniak is a hardworking, dedicated teacher who will do anything to support her students. She has been a staple in our school for many years, and we are so thankful that she has many more years to go.” – Devani Roe, Peer Teacher
“Mrs. Polen makes learning fun! She is always finding ways to motivate her students to read and learn daily. She goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. Mrs. Polen is kind to all her students. She is one of the best! I’m so thankful to have her as my teacher this year.” – Aubrie Patacca, Student
“Karina teaches to each student’s individual needs. She teaches from the heart but with loving discipline. I believe the frequency with which parents request her as their child’s teacher because they were so pleased with the progress the older siblings made, speaks volumes!” – Sherry Garling, Parent

“I believe Christopher Martin, Jr. should be
considered for this award because he has made honor roll and merit roll this year and last year. He always goes above and beyond to help his teachers and peers. He is a self-starter and even participates in a program where he serves as a mentor to children in kindergarten. He goes to school every morning with a can-do attitude! He is highly praised by school staff. What separates Christopher from his peers is he does what’s right in his heart and he is the true definition of a natural born leader.” – Daniesha Williams, Grandparent
