Problems logging in or submitting entries

1. What should I do if I encounter a problem at the Second Chance Drawing Promotion?
A: Go to the FEEDBACK page to let us know what problem you are experiencing. We will assist you via return e-mail. The more specific details you can provide about your problem, the better chance we will have of quickly working through the problem.

2. When I try to submit entries, I get transferred back to the log in page. Why is this happening?
A: Some firewalls or security settings on your PC may prevent you from logging in successfully. For example, your PC setting must be enabled to receive cookies. There have also been occasions where having too many window applications open will interfere with the login. For assistance use the FEEDBACK page to let us know what problem you are having and any error messages you are seeing on your PC, and we'll be happy to provide technical assistance.

3. I tried to submit an entry and got a message that the ticket has already been entered. How can that be if I have the ticket in my hand, and what should I do?
A: Check the list of your previously submitted entries that appears at the bottom of the page where you submit your entries. You should see the ticket that you submitted listed there. Sometimes if a user inadvertently double-clicks the SUBMIT button, the entry is recorded, and the system thinks the user is trying to enter it a second time.

Changing personal information

1. How do I update my personal information that I submitted when I registered?
A:Log in using your username and password, then click on EDIT MY PROFILE in the top right hand corner and make your changes.

2. Do I need an e-mail address to enter tickets online?
A: Yes.

3. Can I enter tickets for friends/family/co-workers on my account?
A: Yes; however, the name on the online account is the owner of the ticket and that name must appear on the ticket.

4. I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: When you log-in to your account click on the Forgot My Password link or click here for help in resetting your password.

5. I have changed my e-mail address. Can I change it in my registration information?
A: Yes. Log in using your old e-mail address and password, then click on EDIT MY PROFILE in the top right hand corner.

Questions about entries

1. How are entries awarded in the MONOPOLY Jackpot Second Chance Promotion?
A: Enter your tickets and play the game to collect MONOPOLY properties. Every time you complete a Property Set, like three RED Properties for example, you get a Bonus Wheel Spin. That spin will award you either entries for the next Monthly Jackpot Drawing or the Property Jackpot cash prize.

2. What does the 2X and 10X Multiplier do?
A: If your ticket is awarded a 2X or 10X Multiplier during the game, the Multiplier is attached to that ticket. If an entry from that ticket is selected in the Monthly Jackpot Drawing, you will win 2 times the Jackpot if the ticket has the 2X Multiplier, and you will win 10X the Jackpot if the ticket has the 10X Multiplier.

3: What happens to entries that do not get picked in a drawing? Are they retained for future drawings?
A: No. Entries are valid for one Monthly Jackpot Drawing only. To participate in each drawing you must enter new non-winning tickets, collect properties, make Property Sets and win more entries in the Bonus Wheel Spins.

4: Where is my ticket history?
A: Each time you submit a ticket, it shows up on the entry, just below the area where you submitted the ticket. All of your entries appear on that list for your information and reference, so you can check the list against the tickets you are holding. If the ticket you submit results in a cash prize award, drawing entries award or drawing entry multiplier award, that information will also be displayed in your ticket history.

5: When can I discard the tickets I entered?
A: The Easy Entry system of submitting entries validates your entry at the time you submit it, so you may discard the ticket after you submit the entry. You may wish to check IRS regulations for information about how gambling winnings and losses are handled before discarding a non-winning lottery ticket.

Questions about winners

1: How do I find out if I have been selected as a Monthly Jackpot winner?
A: Monthly Jackpot winners will be notified by the Lottery or its designee as soon as possible after a drawing. The winners' names and hometowns are posted on the Ohio Lottery website following the validation of winners, approximately one week after each drawing.

2. What if I win a Property Jackpot instant cash prize?
A: If you win a Property Jackpot instant cash prize, a check with your winnings will be sent to the address listed on your Lottery entry account.

3: Why does it take so long to post the winners list?
A: After the physical drawing takes place, the provisionary winning entry is reviewed and verified for eligibility before the winners are finalized. The winners' information is data entered, reviewed and certified by the Ohio Lottery before posting on the website.

4: How are the Second Chance Drawing winners selected?
A: All Internet entries earned during the entry period are divided into small, equal groups of entries. Each entry group is numbered. For the total prizes to be awarded and alternates selected, a random drawing determines which group each entry will be selected from. All drawings are held under the observation of an independent Certified Public Accounting firm and conducted in accordance with Ohio Lottery drawing rules and procedures.

5: What are my chances of winning a prize in a Second Chance Drawing?
A: Your odds of winning will vary, based on the total number of entries that are received for a drawing and the total number of entries that you have submitted.
