The Cash Explosion® instant ticket offers players a chance to be entered into a drawing to become a contestant on the Game Show.
Holders of a Cash Explosion® ticket in which the word "Entry" is matched three (3) times may enter into a drawing to become a contestant on the Game Show. Holders of "Entry Tickets" must complete the back of the ticket and may enter the drawing to become a contestant in one (1) of two (2) ways: 1) online via the Game Show Online Entry System (available through the Ohio Lottery website or the Game Show website); or 2) by mailing the ticket to the Game Show P.O. Box address on the back of the ticket.
Tickets may be entered into the drawing to become a contestant only once. Players may not enter a ticket both online and via the physical mail. If a single ticket is entered more than once, that ticket is ineligible.
Players entering their tickets online must retain the ticket. If selected in the drawing, players will have to present the ticket to claim their prize.
If selected in the drawing, a player's entry must meet the Ticket Eligibility criteria and the Online Entry Qualifications or the Physical Mail Qualifications to be considered a valid selection.
Amounts and prizes that may be won are also addressed in the Cash Explosion® Game Show Procedures.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible.
Any attempt by a user, contestant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website, or undermine the legitimate operation of this online entry system is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, the Ohio Lottery Commission reserves the right to seek damages from any such person or persons, as permitted by law.
The Ohio Lottery Commission and their respective agents, employees, commissioners, directors, officers, affiliates, subsidiaries and assignees are not responsible for illegible, late, lost, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries, or responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the website or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in online entry of Cash Explosion tickets.
The Ohio Lottery Commission and their respective agents, employees, commissioners, directors, officers, affiliates, subsidiaries and assignees are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Cash Explosion Online Entry System, inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or the website of any combination thereof; theft or destruction or unauthorized access of the website; any injury or damage to the participants or to any other person's computer(s) or smart phone(s) related to or resulting from participating in the Cash Explosion Online Entry System, or downloading materials from or use of the website.
If for any reason, the Cash Explosion Online Entry System is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or the entire drawing process, the Drawing Manager (or designee) will conduct the drawing, using an alternate random number generator and representatives from the Ohio Lottery Commission’s Audit and Marketing departments will witness the drawing. Should any unforeseen problems arise prior to the drawing date, the Drawing Manager (or designee) reserves the right to reschedule the drawing for another day. The same verification procedures will be in effect should this occur.
On an ongoing weekly basis, drawings will be conducted to select contestants and alternates for the Cash Explosion® Game Show. Cash Explosion® drawings will normally occur during the business week (Monday through Friday) and will be held at the Ohio Lottery’s central warehouse. Specific drawing dates can be found on the Cash Explosion® schedule . In the event that the drawing cannot be held on the specified date or at the Ohio Lottery's central warehouse, the Executive Producer, in conjunction with the Drawing Manager and the Auditor of State, will select an agreed upon time and location for the drawing. All elements of the drawing will be recorded. The recordings will be properly stored and secured at the Ohio Lottery's central warehouse. The drawing is both an Online Entry and Physical Mail drawing in which selections are determined by a random number generator. The random number generator will select which bins the contestants/alternates are to be selected from, and in the case of a Virtual Bin, will select the record number representing the contestant/alternate selected.
Contestants will be contacted and prepped for their appearance on the Cash Explosion® Game Show per the Cash Explosion® Game Show Procedures.
Employees of the Ohio Lottery Commission, their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, or any blood relative or spouse of such an Officer or Employee living as a member of the Officer's or Employee's household are not eligible to enter the Cash Explosion® drawing. Void where prohibited by law.
