Engaged Couple Wins $20,000 Triple Red 777 Prize

COLUMBUS, OH – Gina Burnside of Columbus won $20,000 playing the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Triple Red 777.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Gina will receive $14,400.

Gina’s fiancé bought her the winning ticket at Broad & Hague Marathon, located at 2805 W Broad St in Columbus.

As he was picking out which tickets to get, the clerk touched the Triple Red 777, and he took it as a sign to buy it. It was the last one.

Not only did he pick a winning ticket, but Gina’s fiancé also bought the ticket at the very same gas station they broke up at over 10 years ago.

Now, they are planning a wedding and will put the winnings toward the big day.

Congratulations to the lucky couple!

Triple Red 777 is a $10 scratch-off with a top prize of $500,000. As of November 15, 2023, there is one top prize remaining in the game. To learn more about Triple Red 777 and the entire lineup of Ohio Lottery Scratch-Offs, click here.
