CINCINNATI, OH – Donald Philpot of Norwood recently received a million dollar surprise after playing the Ohio Lottery’s $50 Billion scratch-off game.
He purchased his winning ticket at Hyde Park BP, located at 2898 Madison Road in Cincinnati.
Donald snagged the game’s second-tier, $1-million prize, which is an annuity, paid as $50,000 a year for 20 years. He will receive approximately $36,000 a year for 20 years after federal and state tax withholdings.
As of Feb. 17, the Ohio Lottery has 101 prizes of $1 million remaining in Billion, as well as other great prizes. Donald beat odds of 1 in 235,636 to win.
