Mega Millions jackpot reaches $1.35 billion for Friday the 13th Drawing

CLEVELAND, OH –  The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $1.35 billion for tonight’s drawing, marking the second highest jackpot in the game’s history. The cash option prize is $724.6 million.

The record-setting jackpot has been rolling since October 18, gaining momentum throughout the holiday season and into the new year to be the first big jackpot of 2023.

Ohio had two $1 million winners in the January 10, 2023, Mega Millions drawing. Corner Carry Out in Marysville and The Party Pak in Upper Sandusky sold the winning tickets.

The Friday the 13th draw date has proven lucky in Ohio in the past. Blendon Drive Thru in Columbus sold the jackpot-winning ticket worth $200 million on November 13, 2015. The prize was claimed in trust.

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each. Players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 to multiply their non-jackpot prizes.
