Marysville’s $39.3 million Classic Lotto jackpot prize claimed in trust

MARYSVILLE, OH – The $39.3 million Classic Lotto jackpot prize, sold this past fall at a Village Pantry in Marysville, has been claimed.The winning ticket for the Nov. 5, 2022, drawing was presented this afternoon by the M& M’s Perfect Game Trust, William Mackin, trustee, at the Ohio Lottery's headquarters in downtown Cleveland.
 
It’s Ohio’s 24th Classic Lotto jackpot win to date.
 
The Classic Lotto jackpot prize is an annuity, paid over 30 years. The winner chose the $19.65 million cash option payment on the annuity prize and will receive approximately $14.1 million after federal and state tax withholdings.
 
Village Pantry #5716, located at 1301 West Fifth Street in Marysville, received a $1,000 sales bonus.
 
This is the second of two big winners sold at this Village Pantry over the past few months. The store sold a $457,990 jackpot prize in the Ohio Jackpot 7s EZPLAY® Game Nov. 4. That ticket was claimed by Larry Watkins of Marysville.
