$50,000 prize on 40th Anniversary Millions sold in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, OH – Elizabeth and James Helwagen of Springfield are starting the New Year with a $50,000 prize win after playing the Ohio Lottery’s $30 scratch-off, 40th Anniversary Millions.$30-Games/40th-Anniversary-Millions

The couple purchased their winning ticket at Kroger Co. #741, located at 2989 Derr Road in Springfield.

The Helwagens will split the prize, each taking home $18,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

As of Jan. 11, the Ohio Lottery has seven prizes of $50,000 still available in 40th Anniversary Millions, as well as other great prizes. The Helwagens beat odds of 1 in 480,000 to win.
