AKRON, OH - Lightning struck twice for Victor Faverty of Akron. He won his second Going Pro EZPLAY® Progressive Jackpot worth $92,276 less than one month after his first jackpot win at the same Ohio Lottery retailer.
After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Victor will receive $66,438.72.
Victor purchased his first jackpot-winning Going Pro ticket worth $75,683 at TD Rowe Tobacco Outlet, located at
1899 Triplett Blvd. in Akron.
He said he went to a different retailer to purchase his second winning ticket, but the machine wasn't working. That's when he went back to TD Rowe Tobacco Outlet, and he was glad he did.
"I was stunned, so was the girl that sold me the ticket. I guess God is just blessing me right now," Victor said.
His plans for his winnings remain the same. He's going to pay off his mortgage and invest the rest for his retirement from the US Postal Service.
Going Pro is a $5 progressive jackpot game with a jackpot that grows with every ticket purchased. Players must get par or better on all nine holes to win the jackpot. To learn more about Going Pro and the entire lineup of EZPLAY® Progressive Games, Click Here.
