Mega Millions jackpot now $865 million

CLEVELAND – With sales for the Mega Millions jackpot gaining steam, tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot has been raised to $865 million, with a $638.8 million cash option.

The Mega Millions jackpot is the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history and the third largest in the history of U.S. lottery jackpot games.

Tomorrow’s Powerball jackpot is $730 million, with a $546 million cash option.

This is the first time that both games have simultaneously had advertised jackpots larger than $700 million.

Mega Millions and Powerball tickets are $2 each. Players can add the Megaplier or the Power Play for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes. Click here to learn more about Powerball and Mega Millions.
