Big Win on Extreme Millions

JEFFERSON, OH – Ronald Asher, Jr. of Jefferson is starting off the week with a big win. He won $40,000 a year for 25 years playing Extreme Millions.

Ronald chose the cash option. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, he will receive $360,000.

Ronald was beside himself when he realized he won, saying, “This is my biggest win besides getting married!” Ronald works seven days a week and was headed to work when he stopped and purchased the ticket. He thought about purchasing a $5 scratch off but is so glad he did not. “It gave me a great feeling,” he said. He went home and told his wife, who then let him take the day off work. When asked about his plans for his prize, Ronald said, “We’ve been to Disney once, so I think we’re going to invest in some rental properties.”

Extreme Millions is a $30 scratch off with a top prize of $400,000 a year for 25 years. As of January 6, 2020, there are three top prizes remaining. To learn more about Extreme Millions and other Ohio Lottery scratch off offerings, click here.
