Ohio Sells the $200 Million Mega Millions Ticket!

Columbus – Some people may think Friday the 13th is an unlucky day, but not the owner of Blendon Drive Thru.  Located at 5377 Westerville Road in Westerville, this retailer sold the winning $200 Million Mega Millions ticket on Friday, November 13, 2015. Miqdad Daas has owned Blendon Drive-Thru for six years. His brother Eyad manages the business.

“We were happy and scared when we got the call,” Miqdad said.  Eyad added that he was surprised. “We work very hard, our business has been blessed with repeat customers because we treat people the way they want to be treated,” Eyad said. “It can happen and it does happen.”

This is Ohio’s 18th Mega Millions winner. The winning ticket holder used auto pick. The winning numbers were 17-18-31-35-59. The Mega Ball number was 9.  Blendon Drive Thru receives a $100,000 agent retailer bonus for selling the winning Mega Millions ticket.

A $1 million winning ticket was also sold at Get Go, 14013 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.

The last time Ohio sold a winning ticket was March 12, 2013. That ticket was sold at Deli 4 Less in Westlake. That jackpot was worth $41 million.
