Determination Pays for Rolling Cash 5 Winner!

EDON - A determined resident of Williams County won a top prize after playing the same set of numbers for two years. Rolonda Martin won $202,000 matching all five numbers drawn in the June 8, 2014 Rolling Cash 5 game.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Martin receives $143,420.

Martin says she only plays the Rolling Cash 5 because she likes the chances of winning.  Besides this, she took the advice from her husband Todd who told her that there are a lot of winners in this game. Martin said the numbers were a combination of life events, the birthdates of her granddaughter and her son, and years of marriage. And now she will spread the wealth by taking the family on some type of vacation.

Her advice to lottery players is, “Hang in there! It pays off.”

Martin purchased the winning ticket from Edon Main Stop.  Located at 11024 St. Rt. 49 in Edon, this retailer   receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a top prize Rolling Cash 5 ticket.

The Ohio Lottery is actively seeking winners of all prize levels to share their stories. Players with an interest in telling theirs can contact the Ohio Lottery at
