$100,000 Prize Claimed

CLEVELAND– A resident of Geneva was in a lucky place while buying an Ohio Lottery instant game. Purchasing her ticket at the Beverage Depot, Patricia Grimmett won $100,000 on Special Edition Cashword.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Grimmett receives $71,000.

Beverage Depot, at 119 N. Broadway Street in Geneva, got in on some of that luck also. Beverage Depot received a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
In the past, this retailer has sold big winners four consecutive years in a row. They sold a $100,000 Wintergreen Cashword ticket in 2012. In 2011, the depot sold a $50,000 Big Money winner. In 2010, they sold a $100,000 KICKER  winner.
