$150,000 TPD on Cash In

WELLINGTON- The Ohio Lottery Team surprised a Lorain County resident in his hometown after he won a top prize drawing on an Ohio Lottery instant. Donald McDevitt won $150,000 on the instant game, Cash In.

McDevitt and his dad had gone shopping for quad runners when the team showed up. Upon his return home McDevitt received and oversized check for $150,000 in his name. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, McDevitt receives $106,500.

There were 17 entries in the top prize drawing conducted on April 17, 2013. McDevitt purchased the entry ticket in July 2011. That TPD ticket worth $5,500 automatically qualified him entry into the final drawing. He purchased the ticket from Mickey Mart #18, at State Route 58 S in Wellington. Mickey Mart #18 received a $1,500 agent bonus for selling a prize winning ticket.

McDevitt says he will donate money to his church, help family, and consider buying that quad runner that he and his dad looked at.
