Six Players Win $2.281 Million


CLEVELAND- There was a whole ‘lotto” winning going on as six players of Ohio Lottery games claimed in total $2,281,198. Lee Lassic of Shaker Heights won $2 million on the January 12, 2013 Powerball game. He had five Powerball numbers and purchased the Powerplay. Clinton Harris of Cleveland won $100,000 on the January 13, 2013 evening Pick 5 drawing. Nermin Karamustafic of Willoughby won $100,000 on the instant, Money, Money, Money. Renee Amato of Highland Heights won $50,000 on Lucky Times 10. Fadi Seman of Euclid won $25,000 on the January 13, 2013 evening Pick 5 drawing. Johnnie Walker of Cleveland won $6,198 on the Pick 4.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent are withheld, Lassic receives $1,420,000. Harris and Karamustafic each receive $71,000. Amato receives $35,500. Seman receives $17,750. Woodruff receives a check for $17,897.68. Walker receives a check for $4,400.

Lassic purchased his second-tier Powerball ticket from Shop Express. At 3965 Warrensville Center Road in Warrensville, Shop Express receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a second tier Powerball ticket. Karamustafic of Willoughby purchased the top prize Money, Money, Money ticket from Clark Avenue Grocery, 4074 Clark Avenue in Willoughby. Clark Avenue Grocery receives a $1,000 bonus for selling top prize instant.
