Four winners in North Canton Area

NORTH CANTON – Four players of Ohio Lottery games scratched instant games and won. Ronnie L Hotchkiss of North Canton won $50K for 20 years, a $1 million top prize on Classic Black II. Robert S. Solenthaler of Canton won $25,000 on Money Mania. Muhammad R. Traish of Akron won $10,000 on Double Doubler. George M. Chesar of Cumberland won $5,500 and will be entered into a top prize drawing for $250,000 after scratching Holiday Lucky Times 10.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hotchkiss, who chose the cash option receives a lump sum check for $345,000. Solenthaler receives $17,250. Traish receives a check for $6,900. Chesar receives a check for $3,795.

Hotchkiss owns Avenue Market and sold himself a winning ticket. Avenue Market at 75 S. Cleveland Avenue in Mogadore receives a $10,000 bonus for selling top prize winning ticket. Hotchkiss plans on taking the family to Disney World and paying off his debt.
