Second place wins $200,000

- Being in second place counts when it comes to playing the Ohio Lottery’s Powerball game. William C. Hall of Morrow can count a second tier prize, $200,000, because he matched all five numbers and no Powerball number in the June 18, 2011 drawing.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hall receives a check for $138,000.

He purchased the ticket from Kelly’s Drive Thru, 5979 3C Highway RR 3 in Morrow. Hall used the auto pick to choose his numbers. Kelly’s Drive Thru receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning Powerball ticket.
