$100K for 20 years

DAYTON - A Springfield resident came close to winning a top prize on an Ohio Lottery instant game.   But surely, Cole M Barker doesn’t mind coming close after winning $100,000 a year for the next 20 years after scratching  the $5 Million Cash Extravaganza instant game ticket.
Cole chose the annuity. Yearly, he will receive for the next 20 years a check for $69,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent are withheld.
He purchased the ticket from Plum Food Mart, 1140 N. Plum Street in Springfield.
