Second-tier Powerball prize claimed in Trust

CINCINNATI -The holder of a second-tier $1 million prize in the March 16, 2010 Powerball drawing came forward, claiming the prize in trust.
Karen Buckley of Wilmington is trustee of The Benjamin Blind Trust. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, the trust shall receive a lump sum of $690,000.
The second-tier prize winning ticket matched five numbers and no Powerball number, but chose the Power Play option. The winning Powerball numbers were 28-39-40-48-53+9. The ticket was purchased at Cheap Tobacco, 1338 Rombach Avenue in Wilmington. Cheap Tobacco receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning ticket.
