Chesterland resident wins top prize

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS - A resident of Chesterland won a top prize scratching an Ohio Lottery instant game.  Blaise J. Meli won $150,000 after he scratched Double-Sided Dollars.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Meli will receive a check for $103,500.
Meli purchased the winning ticket from Ridge & Memphis Shell. Located at 7210 Memphis Avenue in Cleveland, Ridge & Memphis Shell receives a $1,500 agent bonus for selling a top prizewinning ticket.
