Millions won in an instant

NORTH CANTON - He’s already retired but his leisure days may seem a bit easier after winning a top prize on an Ohio Lottery instant game. Robert E. Leasure of Atwater won $100,000 for 20 years after he scratched Maximum Millions.

Leasure chose the annuity. Yearly for the next 20 years he will receive a check for $69,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent.

He purchased the winning ticket from Fisher Foods # 7. Located at 8100 Cleveland Avenue NW in North Canton, Fisher Foods # 7 receives a $10,000 bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.

The Ohio Lottery is actively seeking winners of all prize levels to share their stories. Players with an interest in telling theirs can contact the Ohio Lottery at

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $17 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2010 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $728.6 million.
