Life’s good for Cleveland player

CLEVELAND - A resident of Cleveland went to pay a gas bill and got money for life after purchasing an Ohio Lottery instant game. It’s a wonderful life for Renee A. White who won $10,000 a year for life after she scratched the instant game, It’s a Wonderful Life.
White chose the cash option. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, she will receive a one time check for $103, 500.
She says this will make her decision to retire a lot easier and she plans to have some work done her house. White purchased the winning ticket from East 55th St. Clair Shell.  This retailer receives a $1,500 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
The Ohio Lottery is actively seeking winners of all prize levels to share their stories. Players with an interest in telling theirs can contact the Ohio Lottery at
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $17 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2010 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $728.6 million.
