A happy new year for Lexington player

COLUMBUS - A resident of Lexington will start the New Year happy after winning a second-tier prize in an Ohio Lottery on-line game.  James P. Hannewald won $250,000 for matching five of the five numbers drawn and no mega ball in the 12-28-10 Mega Millions game.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hannewald receives a check for $172,500.
He purchased the second-tier prize winning Mega Millions ticket from The Kroger Company, 1500 Lexington Avenue in Mansfield. He used auto pick. The winning numbers were 6-18-36-40-49. The mega ball number was 07. The Kroger Co. receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning ticket.
