Two instant game winners in Columbus area

COLUMBUS – Two players in the Columbus area have won prizes on Ohio Lottery instant games.   David L. Walls of Zanesville won $5,500, a tpd prize on Holiday Lucky Times 10. Raymond A. Young of Wellington won $20,000 scratching the instant game, Wet & Wild.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Walls will receive a check for $3,795. Young receives a check for $13,800.
Walls purchased the winning tpd ticket from R & K Drive Thru, 1740 Ridge Avenue in Zanesville.  He will automatically qualify for entry into another drawing for a top prize of $250,000.Young purchased the winning ticket from Mickey Mart, 508 St. Rt. 58 S in Wellington.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $16 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2009 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $702.3 million.
