Woman wins $100,000 with KICKER

TOLEDO - She’s from the city of Rising Sun. She’s feeling all warm and fuzzy after beating the 1 in 1,000,000 odds, winning a top prize on an Ohio Lottery on-line game. Kelly L. Jurrus-Myers won $100,000 wagering $1 on the KICKER number printed on her 01-19-10 Mega Millions ticket.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Jurrus-Myers will receive a check for $69,000.
She purchased the winning ticket from Meijer Gas, 2153 Marion Mt. Gilead Road in Marion. The winning KICKER number was 7-6-3-6-5-3.  Meijer Gas receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a winning KICKER ticket.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $16 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2009 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $702.3 million.
