Running with Purpose - Impacting our Community One Race at a Time

by Dan B.
Four years ago I began running because I saw the joy that it brought to my 16-year-old daughter Courteney. As I began to run, she began, as I push her in a running wheelchair and she loves it! She has overcome so many physical challenges and medical complications and is still fighting strong! She inspires me and now I hope my story inspires others. We created the Team Boyle Foundation as a way for our family to raise funds for the special needs community in Northeast Ohio. Our family has been blessed manifold, but we want our children to also know the importance of giving back. So, Courteney and I run Ohio to do so! In the last two years, we've been able to run and raise over $20,000 for special needs causes dear to us. Team Boyle's motto is to "Run with Purpose," as purpose brings about hope and change. Specifically, we were able to donate a significant amount of money to help pay for Ohio's 2017 State Challenger Baseball (the special needs division of Little League) Tournament!
