KAREN HARRIS

Karen Harris, the senior member of the Ohio Lottery talent family, began as a part-time weekend host of the televised drawings in 1983. Since then, Harris has announced winning numbers for well over 4,000 nightly drawings and in her words "made a lot of people a little happier." In addition to her drawing duties, she makes personal appearances, television commercials and speaking engagements on behalf of the Ohio Lottery Commission.

Harris also has an extensive career in Public Relations as a writer, editor and marketing and special events consultant, and is currently a Senior Public Relations Specialist for a pediatric healthcare organization. Her interests include travel, art and African American history.
