$100,000 KICKER claimed

TOLEDO - A player of one of the Ohio Lottery’s on line games won a top prize. Joel A. Moore of Toledo won $100,000 for saying yes to the KICKER number printed on his 10-6-09 Mega Millions ticket.
 
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Moore will receive a check for $69,000.
 
Moore purchased the winning ticket from Barney’s Convenience Mart. The winning KICKER number was 3-3-5-5-6-9.  Located at 3532 Stickney in Toledo, this agent receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a winning KICKER ticket.
 
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $16 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2009 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $702.3 million.
