Findlay mans claims $55,000

TOLEDO…A Hancock County resident has come forward to claim one-half of a jackpot in an Ohio Lottery on-line game. James Agnew of Findlay won $55,000 for having one of two winning tickets that matched all five numbers in the April 7, 2005, Rolling Cash 5 jackpot. He filed a claim in the Toledo regional office Tuesday afternoon.

After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28.5 percent, Agnew will receive a check for $39,325. He used the auto lotto feature. The winning numbers were 12-15-19-28-37.

Agnew purchased his winning ticket from Beverage Station, 3801 St. Rt. 12 Rear in Bettsville, Ohio. Beverage Station receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a winning ticket.

  The holder of the other winning ticket sold Dairy Mart, 9913 St RT. 43 in Streetsboro has not come forward. They chose their own numbers. Dairy Mart receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a winning ticket.
