DAYTON….You’ve heard the term mega bucks and that is just what a South Vienna resident will be getting. Erik Riggle won $250,000, a second-tier prize, for matching five numbers in the January 22, 2008 Mega Millions drawing. He filed a claim in the Dayton regional office on Tuesday.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Riggle will receive a check for $172,500. 

The winning numbers were 12-15-22-25-33.  The mega ball number was 02. Riggle used auto lotto. 

He purchased the winning ticket from Murphy USA #7310, at 50 S. Tuttle Road in Springfield. Murphy USA received a $1,000 bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning ticket.

Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is $87 million. Take a chance for education. Play Ohio Lottery games, odds are you’ll have fun.
