ATHENS… A resident of Belpre has put the Ohio Lottery’s Region 6 office on the map of winners. William J. Fletcher won a top $100,000 prize scratching Sapphire 7’s.  He filed a claim in the regional office yesterday.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Fletcher will receive $69,000. 

He purchased the winning ticket from Cool Spot, 25780 Brimstone Road in Coolville. Cool Spot receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
