Youngstown… It may be a little difficult to keep up with this Jones.  William E. Jones II of North Jackson is the first top prize winner of $2,000,000 in the Ohio Lottery’s Platinum Payout instant game. He filed a claim in the Youngstown regional office.

Platinum Payout’s top prize is $100,000 for 20 years/$2,000,000. Winners can take the cash option and Jones did. He will receive a lump sum of $690,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent.

Jones purchased the winning ticket from Jim’s Party Shop. Located at 14451 Mahoning Avenue in North Jackson, this agent received a $10,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

If you want to keep up with the Joneses there is still time.  Four top prizes were in this game. Platinum Payout began selling November 9. More top prizes of $100,000 a year for 20 years, $20,000 prizes and $10,000 prizes are available for winning.
