TOLEDO…Diamonds might be a girl’s best friend, but a resident of Wauseon doesn’t mind Sapphires. Vera L. Henricks won $100,000 on the Sapphire 7’s instant game ticket. She filed a claim in the Toledo regional office this morning.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Henricks will receive $69,000. She says she will pay off her debt.
She purchased the winning ticket from Circle K, 495 Airport Highway in Wauseon. Circle K receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
Sapphire 7’s began selling 12/28/07. The game costs $5. There were ten top prizes in this game.
