Teamwork brings a winfall
 
YOUNGSTOWN… He conducted a pool, and got a pool of 25 customers to join in and buy a raffle ticket. Now, lottery agent Jamil Zarrour, and the rest of his customers will have to do the math and divide $1 million after having a winning ticket in the Ohio Lottery’s 2007 New Year’s Raffle. The group finalized the claiming process this morning in the Youngstown regional office.
 
Each claimant will receive an equal share of $690,000 in about four weeks, after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings.
 
Group winners are: Rodney A. Hosfelt,  Art Szoke, Mary Jane Moss, James J. Willmitch, Tina M. Alli, Gerald D. Ruess Sr., Ronald  J. Vodhanel,  Jonathan  E. Yuroo, Bobbie A. Gaston, Russell G. Monroe Jr., William F. Hummel, James J. Caputo, Martin P. Dyer, Raymond J. Blain, Joe W. Woods, Henry Brown, Antonio Bury, Jamil C. Zarrour, William Cousin, Ronald Dextel, Arnold J. Burnett, Frank Briggs, Nicholas J., Mancini, Franklin Campbell, and Betty J. Berger.
 
The Golden Food Mart, at 4290 New Road in Austintown receives a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
 
The Ohio Lottery drew 4- $1 million prizes, 2-$100,000 prizes and 500-$500 Raffle winners on New Year’s Eve.  Players can find complete drawing results at www.ohiolottery.com and at their local licensed lottery retailer.  New Year’s Raffle offered $5 million in total prizes.
