Both winners come forward!
CLEVELAND… Deputy Director of Communications Mardele Cohen, announced that both 2nd tier winners in the Ohio Lottery’s New Year’s Raffle game have made claims for their prizes. Glenn M. Murray of Toledo and Phillip G. Brillhart of Fairlawn each won $100,000 for having winning tickets. Murray filed in the Toledo office yesterday. Brillhart filed in the Akron-Canton regional office yesterday.
After mandatory federal and state taxes of 31 percent, Murray and Brillhart will each receive a check for approximately $69,000 in about four weeks.
Murray purchased the ticket from Deanos Mini Mart Too, 11 N. McCord Road in Toledo. Brillhart purchased the winning ticket from West Norton Duchess #24, 3650 Wadsworth Road in Norton.
In this year’s 2007 New Year’s Raffle, the Ohio Lottery drew four $1million prizes, two-$100,000 prizes and 500- $500 prizes on New Year’s Eve. Players can find complete drawing results on this web site and at their local licensed lottery retailer. New Year’s Raffle offered $5 million in total prizes.
