Another claims New Year’s Raffle top prize

COLUMBUSDavid Keener of Granville is the next $1-million winner in the Ohio Lottery’s New Year’s Raffle game to claim his prize.  Accompanied by his wife, they came to the Columbus regional office early this morning to make the claim.

Keener will receive a check for approximately $690,000 in about four weeks, after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings.

He told Lottery officials that he bought five tickets and discovered that he won yesterday.  He said he would do with the money what everybody else does with the money, pay off some bills.

Glenn’s Market, 6085 Fallsburg Drive in Newark, sold him his winning ticket and will receive a $5,000 bonus.

Other $1-million winning tickets were sold at a Circle K in Akron, Minit Mart Foods in Canal Fulton and Golden Food Mart in Austintown.

The Ohio Lottery also drew $100,000 and $500 Raffle winners on New Year’s Eve.  Players can find complete drawing results at www.ohiolottery.com <http://www.ohiolottery.com/> and at their local licensed lottery retailer.  New Year’s Raffle offered $5 million in total prizes.
