School counselor is recognized by the Ohio Lottery

XENIA - Susan Neuhart of Greene County was recently recognized by the Ohio Lottery as a Teacher of the Month for the month of September. She represents the Dayton area. Neuhart is a counselor at Xenia High School.

Neuhart helps students and parents alike to be the best and most successful that they can be. She is noted as going above and beyond for her students. She started the Advisor/Advisee Program to help students get adjusted to high school.

She also started a group called Parent Advisory to contact all parents once a month to keep them informed about happenings at the high school. Neuhart is also an active member of the School Improvement Plan. Neuhart is noted to be an “outstanding counselor” by Assistant Principal, Karol Warden.

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Neuhart will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Bengals’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
