8th grade teacher receives recognition from the Ohio Lottery

NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Lisa Marie Harrelson is a teacher at North Ridgeville Middle School located in Lorain County. She has taught at the school since the beginning of the 2001-2002 school year. Harrelson represents the Lorain area.

She has coordinated spelling bee teams and Power of the Pen teams at the school. “Lisa is a wonderful and skilled instructor in the language arts classroom,” says Principal John Komperda. She has helped to improve the performance of the Special Education students in a significant way. She also has worked to infuse technology into her classroom. Because of the exemplary job Harrelson does in the classroom it is no surprise that she is being honored as a Teacher of the Month.

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Lisa Marie Harrelson will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Browns’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
