Teacher of the Month is named by the Ohio Lottery

HILLIARD - Nicole Braet is a teacher at Scioto Darby Elementary School located in Franklin County. She was recently honored as an Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month. She represents the Columbus area.

Braet is described by a parent as “a credit to her profession.” Last year she taught the children to learn about the use of money and business through her involvement with the 3rd grade “Mini Mall.” Braet is known to be a stable, supportive influence in her students’ lives.

She is able to show empathy to children of divorced families, sickness and other family issues. The students in her classroom try hard because they seek to please her as an educator.

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Braet will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Bengals’game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
