NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Kelly Bossert is a 6th grade teacher at North Ridgeville Middle School. Bossert was recently acknowledged by the Ohio Lottery as a Teacher of the Month for the month of October. She represents the Lorain area.

Bossert is a member of the district’s Math Leadership Team. She is also involved with digital technology. In fact, she is a leader in technology for the building. She is a member of an instructional team that includes the district’s gifted units. Her approaches in the classroom are innovative and match her students perfectly.

Her room is said to be busy with possibly the highest level of student engagement in the building. “Kelly designs instruction that motivates students and excites them about learning,” says Principal John Komperda. Parents commented that she has a positive and professional way of dealing with them and their children. She is described by her principal as a self-starter and hardworker, not to mention an outstanding team member. She is never afraid to take on a challenge inside and outside the classroom.

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Bossert will receive four tickets to a Lake Erie Monsters’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
